These week long camps are organised in the school holiday periods and are ideal for all members of the family and individuals, including club swimmers, masters swimmers, triathletes and those just wanting to have a go. The Family Tri Camp offers a unique blend of activities for all levels of ability and will be especially attractive to those wishing to make the most of a well-earnt break and looking to improve their swimming, and or, triathlon ability in the holiday period.
The camps are fun and engaging packed full of helpful training and coaching content and advice. We will have two swim sessions daily for the swim component of the camp, am (aerobic work) and pm (technique), along with stretching routines and gym work. You will love the technique sessions during the afternoons and evening where you will review your stroke technique with the coaching staff and see yourself swim above and below the water.
For the cycling and running components of the course these are designed to be inclusive and great fun. These sessions will be interlaced around the day and provide a great opportunity for triathletes to refine skills or swimmers to do a little more. Lanzarote is a beautiful Island with some of the best cycling & running routes in the world. The use of the track and the accessible transition area’s make for some really interesting brick (swim/bike or bike/run) sessions.
The week will conclude with a ‘Family Fun Challenge’ along with sprint triathlon relays and an opportunity for time trials.
No matter what your current swimming or triathlon ability, you will find this camp invaluable for holiday training, swimming improvement and skill development across all disciplines. Our aim, as always, will be to ensure your time with us in Lanzarote is both enjoyable and rewarding….. come and have some fun in the sun!
